Orlando Bloom Will NOT Die In Pirates 3

For several days now rumors have been swirling around the internet about Orlando Bloom's future with the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. Simply put, several different sources were reporting that in the next movie he'd be killed off to save money. Those rumors were completely untrue.

Reps with Disney have confirmed to us that while they cannot comment on specific plot points of future movies, they can tell us that the rumors of Will Turner's death are completely unfounded. As of right now, Disney plans to have Bloom's character in any and all future Pirates films. That means if they make a fourth one, they plan to have him in it. It also means that they aren't going to kill him off.

Of course they killed Jack Sparrow off in the last one, so I suppose even if they do kill the character it's no great obstacle. They'll still find a way to fit him in. Hold off on the hysteria Will Turner fans, he has a long future with Pirates of the Caribbean.

Oh yes he will die? Davy Jones killed him and his father catched his heart in that chest. He's now captain of flying dutchman. Once in the 10 years land on, and then again 10 years on the sea. Poor elizabeth.

if elizabeth stayes faithful to Will for ten years then his curse will be brocken

the films writers have elegadly stated the elizabeths fidelity to Will during his ten year absense perminently removes his ties to the duthchmen therfor he gots his heart back and lives

SPOILER ALERT!

AND...I too have seen the movie. And I agree. Will Turner does die. I cried when he died in Elizabeth's arms. But he stabbed Davy Jones heart and thus takes on the 'curse' where he will sail the seven seas forever. And if you watch the cutscene after the credits he has a son.

I have seen the POTC 3 & Will Turner does die.........BUT he comes back to life cos his heart is put in the cheast & Davie Jones heart is stabed & he dies. & then Will (Orlando Bloom) becomes captain on the Flying Dutchman & thats how Will survives !

If Orlando is killed off i will not see the next movie. It was soo sad at the end of the third movie and alot of my friends who saw the movie are very upset with even making a 2nd and 3rd movie. At least at the end of the first one it ended happy. Now at the end of the third everyone is upset!!!!! Elizabeth gets pregnant with Will's son..only makes sense to have him come back and teach his new found son how to be a pirate!! Plus cut costs!! Disney makes sooo much money on these movies because everyones loves them....and they will just loose money because people are mad will died!

I read the JR novel since it was the only thing available, no he doesn't die, they all turn pirate at the end, the last words are by Elizabeth at the wheel of her ship "For now, know that WE ARE THE PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN!" and thats all folks

Will Turner BETTER NOT be getting killed off. w/o turner, itll b pretty hard 2 find something else to fill his place. and besides, one of the main points i watch Pirates is because Orlando Bloom is in it. and im his number one fan i swear, so if they do end up killing him off, then i shall find a way to sue the director.....so yea

Yess!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Finally the truth, he stays!!I started getting nervous after reading these crazy so called "spoilers" on other websites. If you watch enough good movies, and if you paid close attention to the ending of Pirates II, you will know the whole idea was to get people to come back for III. From the ending of II you can tell they will bring Jack Sparrow back to life in the 3rd sequel. The Pirates of the Caribbean movies wouldn't be as fun with out Orlando Bloom and Jack Sparrow (suddenly I forget his real name)

Good to hear that Orli is safe,he's my favourite, but obviously Jack didn't die at the end of POTC 2, he's far too clever for that! My guess is that one of the first shots of the movie will be Jack inside the Kraken hehe.
