Orson Welles died more than twenty-years ago but that wonít stop him from doing a new movie. THR says you can expect to hear him narrating the upcoming childrenís movie Christmas Tails.

Itís happening because of some recently uncovered Welles recordings in which he narrates a Christmas novel. Those recordings are being used a basis for the film which is a live action/CGI hybrid that will, of course, also be shoehorned into 3D. Whatís it about? Thatís where it gets a bit confusing. Itís being produced by Drac Studios and their head honcho Harvey Lowry describes it this way: ďIt's a movie about how Santa's dog saves Christmas.Ē Ok that part makes sense. Now for the part that doesnít: ďBut on one level, this a story about the discovery of Orson's lost tapes.Ē

Iím pretty sure you can ignore that second part and focus on this being a movie about Santa dog re-enacting Earnest Saves Christmas. Whatís more I know if I were the rotting corpse of Orson Welles thereís nothing Iíd love better than to have my voice dug up so someone can slap my name on a poster featuring a dog in a Santa hat. Cute! When I think puppies, I always think Orson Welles.
