Over The Hedge With New Posters

It’s CGI movie image day here at Cinema Blend. First Cars now Over the Hedge, the next computer animated film from DreamWorks. It stars William Shatner as a Possum. Enough said.

We’ve dug up four new character posters and a new official poster for the film. The impression they leave me with is that maybe they’re not really marketing this thing right. The official poster is too busy, there’s too much going on for it to have much of an impact on anyone. The character posters on the other hand, look a little dopey. That doesn’t mean the movie doesn’t have potential, it just means that maybe they need a better marketing strategy if they want to get people talking. But what do I or any of us know in a world where Madea’s Family Reunion is the biggest movie of the year so far. Recent ticket buying history has shown that people will watch just about any piece of crap as long as its computer animated.

To check out big, hi-res version of the film’s new posters, visit our Over the Hedge image gallery by clicking here.
