Paper Heart is a cute little faux documentary I saw earlier this year at Sundance (read my review), a movie which I’d probably have a stronger attachment to had I not seen 500 Days of Summer shortly thereafter. They both cover pretty much the same territory, but 500 Days of Summer does it better, and without applying the Borat movie formula to a cutesy rom-com.

Still, Paper Heart is a sweet little indie movie and probably worth your time. It stars Comedienne Charlyne Yi as she wanders the world trying to figure out why she doesn’t believe in love. Along the way she meets Michael Cera, who seems to think she’s pretty cool. Here’s the first trailer for Paper Heart:
