Celeb gossip syndicate BANG Media is reporting that Paris Hilton may have a part in Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes movie. Fortunately, the primary female role in the film has already been filled by Rachel McAdams, which should mean we’ll be spared from having to put up with very much of her, should Paris actually be involved.

It is however still unclear exactly what part she would play. Paris is quoted as saying only, “I had a few words with Guy. He could be offering me a role in his new Sherlock Holmes movie.” Or he could come to his senses and realize that his career is based almost entirely on a single, semi-decent gangster film and that if he wants to continue having a career he really needs to knock Sherlock out of the park… and that means not giving rich, oversexed young bimbos roles in your film just so you can woo and screw them out of their cash as a replace for the wealthy, oversexed old bimbo you just divorced.

For now, Sherlock Holmes has only a respectable cast. Robert Downey Jr. as Sherlock, Jude Law as Watson. It’s a good group, easily the best cast Ritchie has ever worked with. Keep Paris out of it.
