Paul Dano is a lot of things, and I'm a big fan of his in pretty much anything he does, but "charming" isn't typically a word I'd think of to describe him. So I guess it'll be a stretch for him when he stars in Wichita, playing a "charming but mysterious scientist" whose invention is the key to the whole thing.

Wichita, you may remember, is the action comedy starring Tom Cruise as a federal agent and Cameron Diaz as the "wholesome and upbeat Midestern woman" who winds up joining him on his chase. According to Variety, shooting starts next month in Boston, with James Mangold directing.
