JoBlo was the first to receive a Dukes of Hazzard set pic but I’m content at being around the 48th. The Dukes of Hazzard tv show was a personal favorite of mine as a child. The show was ridiculously entertaining. In retrospect, it really doesn’t paint a nice picture of my home state, but Hollywood rarely cares for authenticity unless they are in New York. Have you ever seen a southern courtroom with air conditioning in the movies? Nooo…..But I digress.

This first set pic gives us Johnny Knoxville looking like himself except with flannel, Seann William Scott grew his hair out a bit to give him that Bo Duke feel, and Jessica looks lovely but I can’t see the Daisy Duke shorts! The other thing we see is the General Lee, the Dukes’ car. In the TV show, the General Lee had the confederate stars and bars on the top of the car. With this pic, I can't tell if it is on the car. If the car does keep its Rebel homage, boy will I be shocked. Political correctness usually sweeps stuff like that away in pre-production. If the producers and director actually had the testicular fortitude to keep the flag on the car, maybe this movie won't suck! Nevermind, I don't think the car can save us from that. Worship Rosco P.
