Pierce Brosnan Makes Up For Mamma Mia By Going Serious![]()
Admit it: you've thought differently of Pierce Brosnan ever since he warbled his way through Mamma Mia! and proved, oh-so-definitively, that James Bond cannot sing. His rendition of "S.O.S." is so burned into my brain I'm not sure I'm ready to take him seriously as an actor again, and yet here he comes again, starring in The Hunter, which will be written and directed by fellow actor Stanley Tucci.
To be fair, the role sounds like a good one for Brosnan. According to Variety Brosnan will play a middle-aged man living in tony Westchester County and trying to hold on to a charmed life that's slipping away. Patricia Clarkson and Julianne Moore also co-star, though Variety isn't giving away exactly what their roles will be-- I'm betting on a love triangle of some sort, because who could resist these three? |
