Shawn Levy, the director behind movies like Just Married and
Cheaper By The Dozen will be bringing ancient curses to life again,
and no, I'm not talking about The Pink Panther.
Sure, Levy did direct the upcoming Pink Panther "re-
envisioning and had a hand in preparing the future affliction of
Cheaper By The Dozen 2. However, I'm referring the announcement
that he'll be directing A Night at the Museum, a story about a
clumsy night shift security guard who accidentally unleashes an ancient
curse which brings images of animals and insects to life.
According to Reuters, the movie will be a family comedy, featuring
a blend of live action and computer animated characters. Think Mary
Poppins meets The Mummy, perhaps? No doubt it will involve lots of prat
falls and an ineffective can of Raid.
A Night at the Museum is scheduled to hit theaters next
holiday season.
