Brad Pitt has been at the top of his game while working with director David Fincher. Seven, one of the most talked-about movies of the 90s, showed the strong, manly side of pretty-boy Pitt. And of course there’s Fight Club, which made him a full blown pop culture icon. He brought a whole new level to the word ‘cool’ with his frightening but slick portrayal of Tyler Durden.
Since last working with together, Pitt has gone on to star in such duds as The Mexican, Troy, and Full Frontal. Perhaps he could use a bit more Fincher in his bland diet. Variety reports that they will be teaming up again for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button for Paramount/Warner Bros. Pitt will act with Babel co-star Cate Blanchett in the project, which has been developed for more than a decade.
The story by F. Scott Fitzgerald and adapted by Eric Roth, is about a man who hits age 50 and begins aging backwards. That may sound like a blessing in disguise, but trouble arises when he falls in love with a woman of 30. Production will begin this fall.
