Since Moon premiered last year to critical acclaim, movie fans have been anxiously awaiting the sophomore effort of director Duncan Jones. Titled Source Code, the film stars Jake Gyllenhaal as a soldier who is being used as part of an experiment to discover the cause of a recent train accident - and with our review of the script here we told you what to expect. Now the first official image for the film has been revealed along with an official plot synopsis
The plot synopsis fits with our script review. As we said back then, it kind of sounds like Groundhog Day with a sci-fi twist and terrorist bombers - and in no way is that a bad thing. Check out the official synopsis below and head on over to Collider to see the full new image where it originated. Captain Colter Stevens (Jake Gyllenhaal) wakes with a jolt to find himself on a commuter train heading into Chicago. Although the other passengers all seem to know him, he has absolutely no idea where—or even who—he is. The last thing Colter remembers is flying a helicopter mission in Iraq, but here he is in someone else’s life going through someone else’s morning commute. Before he can do anything an express train zooms by on the opposite track and a bomb explodes, seemingly killing Colter and all the other passengers. Back to top
