Summer kicked off last night with the early release of the year’s first real potential blockbuster, Iron Man. Not only is it poised to make a ridiculous amount of money, but it’s getting pretty good reviews too. Right now it has a stunning 94% rating on RottenTomatoes.com, making it one of the best reviewed movies of the year so far. A stunning achievement for an effects heavy superhero flick.
It’s being labeled with such superlatives as the best movie of the year, and electrifying. One critic, I think his name is Joshua Tyler (a relative of mine?) called it “fun”. Heady stuff from this Tyler fellow.
