Say what you will about those early trailers for Inglourious Basterds, and how we all secretly feel this movie might turn out campy rather than awesome. But admit that Brad Pitt, even in his "I want mah scalps" drawling, actually looks pretty great in it, and is at least better suited to this than moping around as Benjamin Button.

I like the simplicity of it, the way they know very well that "basterd" misspelled can only mean one thing, and Pitt's sneer. Maybe it's just memories of Tyler Durden, but yeah, I can't wait to see Brad Pitt being mean.

Inglourious Basterds opens in the States on August 21.
