Made of Honor may have some competition as the worst rom-com of 2008, when later this year Kate Hudson shows up on screens in My Best Friend’s Girl. Hudson has a long track record of horrendous rom-coms, and so do her co-stars Dane Cook and Jason Biggs. It will no doubt be a challenge to surpass the awfulness of a Patrick Dempsey movie, but I feel confident that if any movie this year is able to do it, it will be My Best Friend’s Girl. If you hate yourself, I’m sure you’re looking forward to it.

In my Best Friend’s Girl, Dane Cook plays a professional gigolo hired by his best friend (Jason Biggs) to teach his girlfriend how lucky she is to have him, by dating her and acting like a total jerk. Unfortunately, Kate Hudson is one of those girls that likes being treated like trash, and so Tank soon finds himself grabbing her ass behind his best friend’s back.
