I still haven't really made up my mind on whether the Michael Jackson concert documentary This Is It is ghoulish or awesome. I'll be excited to see the last performances from the King of Pop just like everyone else, but something about watching a guy dancing from the grave just doesn't sit right with me.

Also not sitting right: the movie poster, which debuted today at Yahoo! Movies. It shows Jackson in silhouette, wearing the trademark fedora and striking a pose, with images from the concert filling in the silhouette. It's not bad, I guess, but the colors are garish and the scenes unfamiliar-- you expect to see shots of The Jackson Five, the moonwalk, the silver glove. But that's what This Is It will be, not a reflection on a career, but a snapshot of the final moments. If that's what you're in for-- I'm not sure I am-- it'll work just fine.
