All movies based on Nicholas Sparks novels contain certain key elements-- North Carolina beaches, honey-colored sunsets, beautiful white people frowning as if they have real problems. The Last Song, a movie starring Miley Cyrus and based on a Sparks novel written specifically for her, does not seem to be skimping on any of those elements, based on the new poster for the film made available by Disney.

You can check it out below and just feel those soft rock tunes wafting over you as you remember the aches of first love. The movie also stars Liam Hemsworth (Chris's younger brother, also poised to take over the world), Greg Kinnear, and probably an adorable dog or two. You and your mom will be seeing it before too long (it comes out April 2), so save your scorn.
