A new teaser poster has arrived online for Hancock, the Will Smith dysfunctional super hero movie. The poster looks fantastic. It uses similarities to the Spider-Man series, with the city reflected in Hancock’s glasses, but the unshaven look and the knit cap show you this isn’t the kind of super hero you might be expecting. He looks so unkempt you can almost imagine the odor that is probably coming off the guy. Thankfully, posters don't have the ability to produce smells yet.

I didn’t have high hopes for Hancock until I saw the trailer last weekend. It seemed conceptually to be more of Smith doing his schtick. Now I actually have high hopes for it. Let’s all hope it turns out better than the last deconstruction of the super hero genre, My Super Ex-Girlfriend.
