Did you get excited about the trailer for the new Coen Brothers movie A Serious Man? If you didn't, you're clearly not dark and weird enough, but that's another point. Now Focus Features has debuted on their Twitter feed, and oh, it is glorious as well.
The earth tones and washed-out colors fit right in with the bleak Midwestern vibe they were going for in the trailer, while the schlumpy guy on the roof suggests that, even if this is Middle America, things are definitely not proceeding as normal. I like the composition, the colors, pretty much everything about it-- all it's missing is the implicit violence. But I'm also a Coens devotee who will get pumped about whatever they want to offer.
