Disney has started promotion for their next animated feature, Bolt. Even though the movie doesn’t open until this time next year (November 26th, 2008), a promotional image has appeared in Disney’s parks. Animated News got their hands on the image at the right at the animation building at Disney’s California Adventure.
As you can probably guess from the poster, Bolt is about a super-powered dog (see the dog collar at the top of the image and the “A hero is unleashed” pun at the bottom); actually, a dog who thinks he’s super-powered. Really he’s just an actor on a television show about a super-powered dog. When Bolt gets separated from his studio, he makes new friends and learns that his superpowers aren’t real. Think Toy Story only with animals instead of toys.
Bolt features the vocal talents of John Travolta, Woody Harrelson, Bruce Greenwood, Thomas Hayden Church, and Susie Essman.
