Growing up, I was a huge fan of John Carpenter. The Thing, The Fog, Escape from New York, and of course the classic Halloween. Well Hollywood has seen fit to remake Carpenter’s very first flick. Assault on Precinct 13.

Being the Carpenter fan that I am, I was a bit skeptical about this. I’ve seen the original a bunch of times. Sick frickin’ movie. I saw the trailer for this new rendition at my screening for Seed of Chucky.....I was shocked.....It doesn’t look half bad. It’s not trying to be the same movie, it’s trying to be different while still being seemingly interesting.
