James Bond has a new poster. Sadly, his new movie still doesn’t have a better name. They really are sticking with Quantum of Solace.

The poster below is a quad being used in UK cinemas right now. It’s more of the Bond and his big gun stuff which they’ve been using a lot of to promote the film already. For some reason that makes me uncomfortable. I’ve never really thought of Bond as the big weapon kind of guy. I know Casino Royale sort of sets him up as a blunt force instrument, but I’d hoped and thought that was merely the result of inexperience. When are we finally going to get to the suave, debonair Bond who caries a vaguely effeminate pistol? I guess not in Quantum of Solace. Bond has a big piece, and he’s proud of it.
