Since breaking into stardom on The O.C. a few years back, Rachel Bilson has vacillated between doing bad indies (The Last Kiss) and bad big-budget adventures (Jumper). She'll attempt to end the losing streak by going back to the indie side, starring in the romance Waiting for Forever.
As a stretch, 27-year-old Bilson will play a 25-year-old Hollywood actress, whose boyfriend chooses to quit his job and simply live with her for the rest of his life. The boyfriend, apparently, has not yet been cast. Variety also reports that James Keach, who most recently directed the indie romantic comedy Blind Dating, will direct the film.
