Rachel McAdams is the latest to join the cast of Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmse movie. No, she isn’t playing Moriarty. We don’t know who she’s playing actually, probably a love interest, though I suppose they could always put her in a motion-capture gimp suit to have her play the Hound of the Baskerville. Or maybe she could be Sherlock’s cocaine dealer. The guy had to get it from somewhere.

The story of her casting comes from Access Hollywood, where they say the deal is as good as done, and should be announced at a London press conference on October 1st. Already confirmed to be in the cast with her are Robert Downey Jr. as Sherlock, Jude Law as Watson and Mark Strong as the film’s primary villain Lord Blackwood.
