Radcliffe Rises For Phoenix![]()
Daniel Radcliffe may be the star of the hugely popular Harry Potter cinema series, but there is one little catch; he has never watched any of the movies.
"I kind of contemplated watching the first; then I decided I sort of valued my sanity a little too much. I think it would be far too strange, and I would be self-conscious about what I do now", Radcliffe explained to the press. USA Today reports that the 15-year-old star will definitely be returning for the fifth installment, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. He was 12 years old when he starred in the first film of the series, and he will be turning 16 this upcoming july. It's hard to imagine an actor without the narcissism to watch their own movies. I can even picture some celebrities throwing big parties, and showing a marathon of their filmography to gloat to their friends about how fabulous they are. You've got to respect a guy who is probably too insecure to watch his own movies, in fear of nitpicking the performances to death. The only other actor I have heard confess to not watching their own projects is Johnny Depp. But I assure you that I (and every other female on earth) have watched his movies more than enough to compensate. Filming has wrapped up on Harry Potter and the Goblet Of Fire and will premiere later this year. Don't look for Radcliffe in the audience. |
