Good news for those of you who were fans of Daniel Radcliffe’s first foray outside of Harry Potter, a stage play in which he appeared nude on stage next to a horse. His first Potter-free movie has just gotten distribution from the WB, and you’ll be able to see Radcliffe without his spectacles soon in a theater near you.

The movie is December Boys and Variety says Warner Independent is partnering with Village Roadshow for domestic distribution.

It’s directed by Rod Hardy, who loyal ‘Battlestar Galactica’ fans may recognize as a frequent director on the current critically acclaimed Sci-Fi channel series. December Boys is the story of four orphans growing up at a Catholic convent in the Australian outback in the 60s. Radcliffe plays the oldest of the four, and the movie follows them as they compete for the attention of a childless couple. Do the words “Catholic convent” and “orphan boys” make anyone else uncomfortable? I really hope Harry’s not naked again.
