Rascal Flatts Join Hannah Montana In MovieBy Katey Rich: 2008-06-09 14:01:19
I can’t pretend to know, or care, the slightest bit about the upcoming Hannah Montana: The Movie, except that Hannah Montana movies apparently bring in scrillions of dollars, which is good for me and my future making money off the movie industry. But for the people who are big Hannah Montana fans, I’m sure it’s great news that Rascal Flatts and American Idol contestant Bucky Covington will be part of the new movie.Keep in mind, this one will be a feature release with a story, not a concert movie like Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana: Best of Both Worlds from earlier this year. But The Hollywood Reporter says that Rascal Flatts will perform, and since Hannah herself will presumably have a number or two, the movie will definitely feature plenty of music. Maybe it will be a Blues Brothers kind of musical, with random musical interludes whenever a big star shows up onscreen? Either way, you know the fans will be happy, and that’s really all that matters. Hannah Montana: The Movie will come out next June 1, and I promise we’ll spend the next year hearing plenty more about it.
