Razzie Award Noms Dishonor The Last Airbender And Twilight![]()
While the fall of 2010 may have been filled with spectacular titles including The Social Network, True Grit, The King's Speech and Black Swan, the first three-quarters of the year was fairly miserable. Nearly every "blockbuster" from the summer, with the obvious exceptions of Inception and Toy Story 3, was a dud and there wasn't a quality comedy to be found. While the rest of us moaned and bitched about it, however, some did take joy in the misery, and those people are all behind the upcoming Razzie Awards.
With the nominees for this year's Academy Awards set to be announced early tomorrow morning, the Razzies has released its own list of films competing to be known as the worst of the year. Tied with 9 nominations apiece are M. Night Shyamalan's The Last Airbender and the most recent Twilight film, but other titles include Jonah Hex, Vampires Suck, The Bounty Hunter and Sex and the City 2. Probably the most surprising omission is the Strause brothers' Skyline, but perhaps that got away on a technicality of some sort. Check out the full list of nominees below. WORST PICTURE |
