Apparently the lackluster Stardust trailer that leaked out on the internet last week was a fake, but a pretty good fake because now we have a real trailer for the film and it’s really not all that different.
The main difference in this one is that all the random clips you saw in the previous one have been slickly edited together and given a real musical score. It’s a small improvement, but it’s still really hard to get a feel for whether not Stardust is going to be good. I’m having a tough time buying into Robert De Niro as a Air Pirate. Shouldn’t that role have gone to Bruce Campbell?
