When you think about it, running green band trailers for an R-rated movie doesn't make a lot of sense. Considering that anyone that isn't age appropriate won't be allowed to buy tickets, why both advertising for the younger crowd by censoring your movie? When studios start cutting out curse words and picking alternate scenes, especially when it comes to comedies, they are handicapping themselves by a) showing off their product in an inaccurate light and b) not showing the best stuff they can. To put it simply: if you have a character named Motherfucker Jones in your movie, you should be advertising the hell out of it.

MSN UK has premiered the first red band trailer for the upcoming Seth Gordon-directed comedy Horrible Bosses, starring Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis, Charlie Day, Kevin Spacey, Colin Farrell, Jennifer Aniston and Jamie Foxx. In the film, three friends devise a plan to get rid of the people that make their everyday lives an absolute living hell: their bosses. Using the Strangers on a Train method in which each one kills the other one's boss, it sounds like a fool-proof plan, until things go totally wrong.
