Red Band Trailer For The Sitter Starring Jonah Hill
Earlier this year David Gordon Green premiered his follow-up to Pineapple Express, the medieval comedy Your Highness starring James Franco and Danny McBride. Unfortunately the film wasn't what most people expected, as it was a critical dud and ended up making only a little over $20 million at the domestic box office. Fortunately, because Your Highness was actually delayed from its original release date, the director is already set to redeem himself with The Sitter.
The red band trailer for the new comedy has premiered on IGN, beginning with a intro from star Jonah Hill. In the movie Hill stars as a 20-something slacker who, after failing to find a job, finds himself stuck babysitting three kids. When he agrees to buy some drugs for his "girlfriend," however, the night spins wildly out of control and the kids come along for the ride. Check out the trailer below! Not a bad trailer, but does anyone else get the feeling that this character is basically Seth from Superbad after he's graduated from college? There are some decent laughs here, but I do wish that there was more of Sam Rockwell and J.B. Smoove, who play the two drug dealers on Hill's tail. Just the idea of those two working together sounds hilarious, so it's hard not to have high hopes for that part of the movie. Perhaps they are just trying to avoid spoiling all of the laughs in the trailers. The Sitter arrives in theaters on December 9th. |
