As funny as the green band trailer for A Very Harold and Kumar 3D Christmas may have been, it was never going to reflect the movie as a whole. After all, if the new film is anything like the previous two we should expect plenty of drugs, sex and violence. It's for this exact reason that red band trailers were invented and today it's been delivered courtesy of IGN.

Set a few years after the legendary trip to White Castle and the escape from Guantanamo Bay, A Very Harold and Kumar 3D Christmas begins with Harold (John Cho) spending the holidays with his new wife, Maria (Paula Garces) and her parents. When Kumar (Kal Penn) comes by unannounced, he accidentally burns down his father-in-law’s (Danny Trejo) prized Christmas Tree. Needing to find a replacement, the infamous duo head out to find a perfect new tree and save Christmas at the same time.
