Whether scared off by the summer’s brutal box office unpredictability or because they need to make some minor tweaks to Charlize Theron’s leotard, Paramount announced today that they’re pushing Aeon Flux’s release date back. Now, instead of a September debut, they’re shooting for December 2, because nothing says holidays like Charlize Theron doing summersaults in tight pants.

Aeon Flux is the futuristic spy/espionage movie no one really seems all that interested in based on the old MTV cartoon that almost no one remembers. It might help if Charlize costume were a little more flattering. Look what that shit’s done for the Dukes.
