As far as we know, the new Nightmare on Elm Street starring Jackie Earle Haley is well on track for an April 30 release next year. But Reelz Channel has discovered that some extra shooting for the film is scheduled to take place well after photography had completed, filming a funeral scene and requiring a few extras to fill in as mourners.

The scene doesn't sound like a major one, and it's as likely as anything that it's the kind of reshoot scheduled when the filmmakers realize they need an extra bit or two of a scene for the sake of pacing. I'm not going to ring the bell on this as a "troubled production," but if rumors of the kind start popping up, you'll know not to be surprised.
