Resident Evil: Afterlife Trailer To Arrive In Front Of A Nightmare on Elm Street![]()
Are you a fan of the Resident Evil films? Well, this is big news! As tweeted by Milla Jovovich (via Coming Soon), the trailer for Resident Evil: Afterlife will be attached to A Nightmare on Elm Street. The horror reboot is due out on April 30th, so you can probably expect to see the RE4 trailer hit the web shortly before that.
You’ve still got some waiting to do, but it’s better than if the film didn’t hit theaters until 2011 as previously expected. At first the plan was to release the film on August 10th, 2010. Then, word got out that it was being held back until January 14th, 2011 most likely because director Paul W.S. Anderson needed additional time to convert the film to 3D. As of January RE4 was nudged back up, not to its original date but to September 10th. The bottom line? Be thankful; it’s coming! Check out what you have to look forward to in the film’s official synopsis: In a world ravaged by a virus infection, turning its victims into the Undead, Alice continues on her journey to find survivors and lead them to safety. Her deadly battle with the Umbrella Corporation reaches new heights, but Alice gets some unexpected help from an old friend. A new lead that promises a safe haven from the Undead leads them to Los Angeles, but when they arrive the city is overrun by thousands of Undead and Alice and her comrades are about to step into a deadly trap. |
