Rhys Ifans Spotted On The Set Of The Amazing Spider-Man With A Patch Of Lizard Skin

We've seen Peter Parker both in his street clothes and dressed as Spider-Man. We've seen video where the webslinger chances down a truck. We've seen the new version of Gwen Stacey. We've even learned the fate of one of the main characters. The only thing the shutter bugs on the set of the Marc Webb-directed The Amazing Spider-Man haven't been able to capture images of has been Rhys Ifans, who plays both Peter's college professor Dr. Curt Connors and the film's main villain: The Lizard. The closest thing we've seen has been a cloaked figure with a blue sheet over his face. Finally Ifans has stepped out of the darkness, thanks to The Daily Mail.

The UK paper has posted the first images of the Welsh actor on set and not only to the pics show off how they are editing out his arm (good ol' chroma key), but have also highlighted a patch of skin on the actor's neck that appears to be quite lizard-like. In fact, I am really hoping that it's make-up if not only because I don't want this to be an article dedicated insulting Rhys Ifans' dermatology care.

Check out a couple of the shots below and for the rest be sure to head over to The Daily Mail.
