Those who've stared long enough at Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson might be familiar enough with the actor's sculpted physique to recognize the sight of his bicep and triceps without actually seeing his face. If that's the case, the above video needs very little introduction to clue you in as to who we're looking at. The guy on the left is prop supervisor Mickey, and the partially exposed arm, leg and body in the shot is Johnson. They're on the set of Hercules and it seems Johnson's gotten a bit grabby at the start of this take.

The Rock Instagrammed the above video with the following explanation:
On a movie set we have a "Prop Supervisor" who's job is to make sure everything's 100% perfect before the Assistant Director yells.."Aaand ACTION". Today we have Prop Supervisor Mickey who's ensuring the drapes are perfectly still for our take once I get in position. What Mickey doesn't know is I'm a beast w/ a vice grip and once my hands get ahold of you.. you become my lunch. #MickeyLivesAnotherDay #LeatherCanBeRestricting #GottaSumHaveFun #HERCULESMovie

As he mentions in his hashtags, leather can be restricting. Maybe that's how Mickey was able to escape. Or maybe he's just super fast. Johnson's been Tweeting and instagramming teasy glimpses of his costume for us to look at, including one photo that reveals a bit more of that constricting leather costume...

...And another that shows the Johnson getting into make-up, which includes a lot of time spent covering up his tattoos...

Hercules is based on the graphic novel Hercules: The Thracian Wars, and is described as an ensemble action film that's a revisionist take on the classic myth. It's set in a grounded world, which means no supernatural abilities.
Haunted by a sin from his past, Hercules has become a mercenary. Along with five faithful companions, he travels ancient Greece selling his services for gold and using his legendary reputation to intimidate enemies. But when the benevolent ruler of Thrace and his daughter seek Hercules' help to defeat a savage and terrifying warlord, Hercules finds that in order for good to triumph and justice to prevail... he must again become the hero he once was... he must embrace his own myth... he must be Hercules.

In addition to Johnson, the cast also includes the great Ian McShane, Rufus Sewel, Joseph Fiennes, Peter Mullan, John Hurt, Rebecca Fergusun and Ingrid Bolso Berdal. The film is slated to arrive in theaters July 25, 2014.
