Last year we heard that Rosario Dawson’s next movie would be a controversial rape pic called Descent. After a few months of waiting, the first trailer for it has popped up online, uncovered by the guys over at Filmstalker.
Descent is about about a college student recovering from a brutal date rape. While trying to rebuild her life, she takes a page from Jennifer Lopez’s Enough and decides to take revenge on her attacker in an equally shocking, graphic, and controversial manner. Watch the trailer and I think you’ll get the picture. Gentlemen, time protect the boys and hide the kitchen knives from our wives.

The story had to be told. Rape victims often do not have an outlet to voice or express their need for revenge. We non-victims often make an assumption about how rape victims feel. Not all rape victims want to run and hide or retreat from society. There are many documented cases where the victim actually loses touch with reality because they can not revenge the wrong that has been done to them.
The difference between a criminal and a non-criminal is the non-criminal follows the nature law.
To possess ones spirit and soul via a rape is very Satanic. The offender, the demonic spirit, has already collaborated with the darker side of their being.
Reality is what we will be watching, and I applaud all that had something to do with the film.
I will have a better judgement on the movie when I see the entire movie but so far it looks promising ebough to watch.... We will see later if it were worth the wait....
