When you think of Rupert Grint, you think of Ron Weasley. It's kind of hard not to. After all, the only films that he has done outside the Harry Potter series have been two small comedies. But no actor wants to be "that redhead kid" forever.

Empire has premiered the trailer for Lisa Barros D'Sa and Glenn Leyburn's Cherrybomb, and, from the looks of it, this is Grint trying to shed his child-actor image. Playing like a Bret Easton Ellis story based in the UK, the clip is full of the requisite sex, drugs and rock-n-roll, vandilism and everything else Parent Groups hate. A bit too much sunlight and some strangely peppy music give the last half of the trailer an unbalanced feel, but this looks like a film that could change how we look at good ol' Ron.
