Ryan Gosling And Josh Brolin Have A Night Meeting In New Gangster Squad Set Photos
A couple weeks back the first set photos from Ben Affleck's Argo came online and it took about three seconds to realize when the film is set. From the wide-lapel shirt to the blue-jeans-and-blazer, everything about the photos screamed the 1970s. Now some new photos from the set of Ruben Fleischer's Gangster Squad have appeared and while it's a different era than Argo, the fashion once again telegraphs the decade.
Check out a few shots of Ryan Gosling, Josh Brolin and Anthony Mackie on the set of their new film and head over to Just Jared for the full gallery.
Based on a true story and adapted from the book "Tales of the Gangster Squad" by Paul Lieberman, Gangster Squad stars Gosling and Brolin as Sgt. Jerry Wooters and John O'Mara, two Los Angeles-based police officers in the 1940s (duh) who work to drive the east coast mob, led by the dangerous Mickey Cohen (Sean Penn), out of Southern California. The film aslo stars Emma Stone, Nick Nolte, Giovanni Ribisi, Josh Pence, Robert Patrick, Michael Pena, Frank Grillo, Sullivan Stapleton and Mireille Enos. As reported earlier today, the movie will be released on October 19, 2012.
