Dakota Fanning goes from being the world's unhappiest, most traumatized little kid in Steven Spielberg's War of the Worlds to being one of the happiest, the smiley faced Fern in Charlotte's Web. A cash of stills have been released, chock full of smiling pigs and CGI crows. Check out the stills below. You have to wonder why those two birds don't have to hang on to the wire. Ah the magic of matte.

Unfortunately there aren't any shots of everyone's favorite rat, Templeton or the leading ladybug-eater herself, Charlotte. Hey PR folks: more spiders and rats, less Fanning holding pork, please! There are, however, plenty of the rest of the barnyard animals including the small gaggle of geese, Golly and Gussy, voiced by token loudmouths Cedric the Entertainer and Oprah Winfrey. Oh, and one of those sheep will be voiced by John Cleese. Your guess is as good as any as to which one.
