I can't wait till Borat finally hits theaters. It's going to blow your mind folks. Sacha Baron Cohen is clearly a comedic genius, but can he handle a musical? We may find out. Production Weekly says he's in negotiations to join the cast of Tim Burton's Sweeney Todd.

For those of you who haven't been keeping up with our coverage, Sweeney Todd is an adaptation of the popular (yet gruesome) broadway musical about a barber with a proclivity for slitting throats. Tim Burton is directing and he's cast his favorite muse Johnny Depp to play the lead.

If Borat's alter-ego joins the cast he'll play Signor Adolfo Pirelli, Johnny's hair cutting competition.

Sweeney Todd won't start shooting until February in London, so Cohen has plenty of time to make up his mind. Meanwhile, he's busy traveling the world in character as Borat, making life miserable for the Kazakhstan government.
