It looks like Samuel L. Jackson’s last minute cameo in Iron Man really will pay off. LatinoReview caught up with Sam at a press junket for Soul Men where he confirmed that he’s in Iron Man 2.
According to Jackson, he’s recently spoken with Iron Man 2 director Jon Favreau, who told him that he was in the sequel. Jackson didn’t elaborate enough to reveal how big his part in the movie would be or just what exactly he’d be doing in it, but he’s definitely in. He even joked about his contract, so it sounds like he’s really signed on the dotted line.
Jackson appeared in the first Iron Man film in a cameo as Nick Fury, the head of the fictional organization known as S.H.I.E.L.D. Rumor has had it that Jackson and SHIELD may play a larger and larger role in Marvel’s upcoming slate of sequels, and they may figure heavily into Avengers movie and forming up all of Marvel’s superheroes into a single team.
