Sanaa Lathan Added To The Cast Of Steven Soderbergh's Contagion

Just when you think the cast of Steven Soderbergh's Contagion couldn't get any bigger, it does. Already sporting a cast that includes Matt Damon, Jude Law, Marion Cotillard, Kate Winslet, Gwyneth Paltrow, Bryan Cranston and Laurence Fishburne, they are now adding one more. Variety reports that Sanaa Lathan has been cast as the wife of Fishburne's character, Dr. Ellis Cheever. In the film, written by Scott Z. Burns, an international team of doctors is brought together to help stop a viral outbreak that has begun in Hong Kong.

This is getting ridiculous. If this cast gets any bigger the actors are going to start tackling each other to get more screen time. Then again, when you consider the brilliant work that Soderbergh did with Traffic back in 2000, it's hard not to have total confidence. You can rest assured that Contagion will be one of the biggest movies to hit theaters next year.
