Sarah Jessica Parker will become one of the Smart People by joining a movie with Dennis Quaid. Now if it was Randy Quaid, that wouldn't be smart at all.
Variety says she's signed up for the cast of Noam Murro directed comedy Smart People, which in addition to Quaid already has Thomas Haden Church, Ellen Page, and Ashton Holmes involved.
Sarah is actually a replacement, she's taking over a spot vacated by Rachel Weisz.
The role casts Sarah as a doctor who falls for her professor, a man turned bitter by his wife's death.
Because she's a fill-in, Parker will end up with little time to prepare. Smart People starts shooting November 6. Luckily, as you can see from the picture with this story she's flexible.
