A lot of information for this year’s Saw installment has been speculation and random guesses. After all, we know that Tobin Bell is contracted for three more pictures even though his character is dead, and the whole franchise kind of centers around his character anyway, alive or dead. We also know Julie Benz (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) has been confirmed as a cast member. But that’s about it… until now.

It still doesn’t tell us much, but Lionsgate has officially added Megan Good to the cast of Saw V. The announcement tells us she will play “Luba, a city planner who comes from a very wealthy family.” How this relates to Jigsaw or Saw V’s overall story isn’t clear, however.

Good has already faced horror in 2008 as a part of One Missed Call and will be in Mike Myers’ Love Guru later this year, making for one successful year for the actress when Saw V hits screens in October.
