Species really set the bar when it comes to "sexy alien" movies. Hell, the entire premise was about Natasha Henstridge trying to have sex with various men (and eventually succeeding with Alfred Molina). The new Scarlett Johansson-starring sci-fi film Under The Skin, which is currently in production in Moscow, will undoubtedly remind some of the impressively mediocre Roger Donaldson movie from 1995, but it does have a twist of its own.

ICYDK has posted images of Johansson in costume on set, and the first thing you may notice is that she's wearing a lot more clothes than Henstridge ever did while making Species. Check out a couple of the photos below and see the full gallery over at the source.





In the movie Johansson plays Laura, an alien who has been sent to Earth to kidnap humans and send them back to her home planet, where the meat is considered a delicacy. Taking a human form and using her sexuality to entice victims, she slowly begins to feel pity for the humans and decides to stand up for them. Unfortunately, this change of heart isn't taken kindly back at home. The movie is being directed by Jonathan Glazer (Sexy Beast) and is based on the novel by Michel Faber. Under The Skin is expected to be released sometime in 2012.
