Natascha Kampusch hasn't even adjusted to daylight yet, but Hollywood is already planning a movie about her.

Kampusch you'll recall, is the Austrian girl kidnapped and held prisoner in a basement for eight years. Digital Spy says that several different studios are hot to secure the rights to her story, and may pay as much as 50 million pounds in order to do it. I suspect they're also willing to pay in dollars or rubles if Natascha prefers it. Maybe even Yen.

But the bigger news here is that blonde bombshell Scarlett Johnasson may be in the running to play Natascha. The producers shepherding her story along as a movie project have told The Daily Mail that she's their first choice.

While Scarlett actually does bear a slight resemblance to Natascha, there might be a slight age issue. Natascha Kampusch was 10 when she went into that basement, and 18 by the time she escaped this year on August 23rd. Scarlett is now a busty 22, and while she'd have no problem pulling off 18, 10 or even 14 is pretty much impossible. On the other hand there are plenty of young actresses in the 18 – 20 range that might be able to pull of 12 and 18 in the same picture. The film's producers might be better off looking there, rather than being sucked in by the biggest name available.
