Second Clip From Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes Has Caesar Leading A Revolution![]()
Last night an extended clip from Rise of the Planet of the Apes was released online and basically sold me on the film. While I had only been minimally interested by the trailers, the emotional element finally came out in the four minute scene and it finally gave audiences a look at the full range of feelings that can be expressed by Caesar, the entirely-CGI chimpanzee played by Andy Serkis. While it isn't explicitly stated what happens following the clip (in which Caesar viciously beats a man that was yelling at one of his owners), we can assume that the incident led to Caesar being taken away from his family. Obviously this didn't make him very happy because now he's ready to start a full on revolution.
Putting the "Rise of" into Rise of the Planet of the Apes, a new clip has been released online showing Caesar hatch his master plan to give other apes the miracle drug he was given and start a rebellion against the humans. The only thing that concerns me is that this might be giving a little bit too much away, but, then again, we always knew that there would be some point in the film where this would happen.
