I’ve talked about it before on the site, but right now it bears mentioning again. I read the very early, since heavily rewritten draft of I Am Legend a few years ago, and when I did it made me cry. It was beautiful, gut wrenching, and terrifyingly real. Since then Will Smith was added to the project and rumors leaking out about the script seemed to indicate that everything which was wonderful about it had been ripped out in favor of giving the film Big Willie style. Well the rumors were wrong.
The second trailer for I Am Legend has just arrived, and it’s incredible. It’s everything that the original script was. Haunting, lonely, hopeless, desperate. Will Smith really is the last man on Earth, an Earth now owned by monsters, fear, and death. I Am Legend just rocketed up the list to my most anticipated movie of the year. This is so much better than anything we’ve seen for the film till now.
Another trailer has been leaking around the net today, but this one’s different. The trailer flying across YouTube is the film’s international trailer. The one I’m talking about is the film’s second domestic trailer, and you can watch it in high-def by clicking right here.

It has potential, as long as theres not too much action, there seems to be a lot of explosions and jumping out windows and car chases... but I agree the tone and story does seem faithful so far... It might turn out to be a good flick, ill have to see if it really is "I Am Legend"
