Director Rob Cohen has updated his Mummy Production Blog with a new post in which he talks about the positive reaction to the first trailer for The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. I wonder if he may be overstating the positive vibes this movie is getting a little. I haven’t heard any reaction to it at all really. In a year when we have an actual Indiana Jones movie, is anyone still interested in The Mummy?
If you are still interested, then you’ll want to know when and where you’ll be able to see the next trailer. Cohen says they’re prepping a second one for release in front of Angelina Jolie’s action movie Wanted. So expect a new trailer for The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor some time around June 27th. If it’s not online, you’ll at least be able to catch it in theaters. Assuming of course, you’re interested. Or, maybe you’ll just go see Indiana Jones 4 again. With the kind of money it made this past weekend, it’ll almost certainly still be in theaters.
